The concept of The Hour Glass at TRX mall draws inspiration from the soft curves and natural silhouette of the human hand and wrist, translating these forms into sinuous, curvilinear walls and custom furniture. This luxury watch boutique is designed as a hidden lounge within the Rolex store, offering clients a private and bespoke experience when trying and purchasing watches from the multi-brand selection.

At the heart of the space lies a sculptural sofa, its shell crafted from polished stainless steel, a tribute to the meticulous craft of watchmaking. This wristwatch-inspired centerpiece anchors the lounge, surrounded by curved architectural elements and furniture that reflect the organic forms of the human wrist and hand. A bespoke oval table rotates outward, ensuring customers can easily enter and exit the seating area with comfort and style.

The store’s façade is an extension of the interior’s curvilinear language, constructed with champagne-toned stainless steel, seamlessly blending the fluidity of the space inside with the luxurious exterior.

The material composition of the boutique reflects a refined and luxurious palette starting with the walls which are clad in a harmonious combination of natural oak veneer and natural lime plaster, adding texture and subtle depth. Honed, unfilled travertine is used throughout, lending an earthy quality to the space, while accents of champagne-toned stainless steel offer a sleek, modern contrast that ties back to the precision of watchmaking. The flooring is a blend of honed travertine, which flows seamlessly across the space, and bespoke carpeting, adding a touch of softness and comfort underfoot. Polished white wood onyx is used for the fixtures.

This design concept encapsulates elegance, comfort, and bespoke craftsmanship, creating a luxurious environment for the discerning clientele of The Hour Glass.
